Today SMK had their first All School Assembly, this being the first one in 2 years. They emphasized how special it was to bring everyone together because everyone is on the same team! They had an active discussion about how to behave in a learning community. Questions were asked and students raised their hand to answer about what it means to be a good citizen. Some of the students answers being "be kind" or "cheer someone up if they are upset". Ms. Hill brought up that everyone is different, but different is good. Each month going forward they will celebrate someone from each class who demonstrates different character traits such as trustworthiness or respectfulness. Then those students will be awarded at the next All School Assembly. On another note Tie Dye was the spirit day today, great job dressing in Tie Dye!
