Today, SMK hosted a holiday concert for their kindergarteners, where they sang songs such as "You're A Grand Old Flag," "Body Boogie," "Better Bundle Up," "Hanukkah is Here", "Santa's Helpers" and "We Wish You a Merry Christmas." The students also recited the poems "Snowflakes," "Winter," "I Am a Little Dreidel," and "Little Latkes Sizzling." The kindergarteners wore elf hats, which were created in music and embellished in art class. The concert was a success, thanks to the
hard work of music teacher, Stephanie Russell, the SMK staff, and the support of Superintendent Lovato. Special thanks also goes to anyone who gave donations towards the instrument project! The winter-themed snowman paintings proudly displayed around the cafeteria were enjoyed by everyone!
